Do you want to Duplicate a WhatsApp group?

Many times a need arises to duplicate a WhatsApp group. Some of the possible scenarios are.

• You have a group where you are the group admin and you set the group settings which allows only Admins to send messages. And you wanted to create another group with the same participants where everybody can send messages
• you would like to duplicate a group with few participants added/deleted to cater to different interests( Movie lovers/ Only Music lovers)

Normally WhatsApp does not have a provision for duplicating the group. However here is a work around to accomplish this task.

I am giving below step by step instruction

Step 1:

Open the URL https://www.wawebpro.com/

Step 2

Click on Agree & continue.

Step 3

WhatsApp web is opened. The difference is Pro Logo at the top left hand corner.

Step 4:

Open WhatsApp web in your mobile and scan the Qr Code on your Desktop/Laptop. and WhatsApp web client is opened.

Step 5

Open the Group you wanted to duplicate and click on the three vertical dots on the top side of posts and in the ensuing pop window click on Duplicate Group( see the picture shown below)

Step 6

All the members in the original group are pre selected and click on OK button at the bottom. It will navigate to the screen and prompts you to add new group subject. In this case for demo purpose the group subject is given as Duplicate Group Name and click on the green button below the Group Subject.

That is all. New Group is created which is a duplicate of the group you have selected .
